What We Use Today
As of September 2, 2026, PR Run uses strictly necessary Cookies for hosting and authentication, and analytics scripts that may set their own Cookies or similar storage. We do not use advertising Cookies.
Strictly Necessary
Required for delivery, security, load balancing, and authentication. Our hosting provider, Vercel, Inc., may set strictly necessary Cookies to operate the site. Clerk, Inc. sets session and authentication Cookies when you create an account, log in, or use Google sign-in. These Cookies are essential to provide account features. Legal basis: contractual necessity and legitimate interests in security.
Analytics
PR Run loads Datafast analytics on public pages. Datafast may use Cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to measure page views and custom goals. Exact cookie names and retention should be verified against Datafast documentation. We use analytics to understand site usage, not for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Funnel Attribution (sessionStorage)
When you move from a race page or calculator into account creation, PR Run may store validated race and campaign parameters in sessionStorage under the key pr-run:funnel-attribution. This first-party storage survives Google sign-in redirects within the same browser tab and expires after 30 minutes or when the tab closes. It stores only allowlisted race slugs and referral or UTM codes, not email, name, or health information.
Managing Preferences
Most browsers allow you to block or delete Cookies through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary or authentication Cookies may prevent log-in, account features, or reliable delivery of the Service.
Third-Party Cookies
