Course Art

Javelina Jundred

Five loops. One oven. Pemberton sand.

About this piece

Five Pemberton loops on one canvas. Loops 3 and 4 in orange because that is when the white granite turns the course into an oven. 100 miles. 7,900 feet. No shade. 1.5″ framed canvas, black wood frame. Each piece is printed and framed to order through our production partner. Handmade. Allow 2 to 3 weeks for production and delivery.

Why this course

Loop logic

Javelina is not one long line. It is five laps on Pemberton, and your brain starts counting loops instead of miles. The profile repeats with small scars where the sand and sun do their work. Loops 3 and 4 are marked. That is when people break.

The granite oven

White granite sand reflects heat back at your shins. No shade. 100 percent exposed. The art does not show temperature. It shows the terrain that creates it: low relief, high punishment, orange on the sections where GI shutdown starts.

Night loops on the wall

Run the night. Walk the worst sun. The cream line on black background still reads when the room lights go down. Same dither system as our race pages and training tools. One visual language from desk to desert.
