Winding singletrack and rocky ridgelines in Los Padres National Forest above Ojai. Twenty-six thousand feet gain. High point 6,200 feet on Topa Topa summit sections. Forty-two hour cutoff. Two hundred entries total across all distances.
The Work
Vert without altitude. Repeated steep climbs on rocky tread. Qualifier: 100K with 10,000 feet gain. Train dense vert weeks at lower elevation.

Poles for sustained climbs. Rocky trail shoes. Wind layer for exposed ridges. Color-coded ribbons per distance.
Race Day
