The Course
Forty-three laps of 2.3094-mile USATF certified horseshoe at Cornerstone Park, Henderson. Forty-five feet gain per loop. About 1,800 feet total. Elevation 1,883 to 1,903 feet. Three bridge crossings every lap. Lake views and desert parkland.
The Work
Flat speed and lap discipline. Perfect first 100 or PR attempt. Train marathon pace endurance on pavement. Short course option runs Friday for USATF nationals.
Kit
Road shoes. Warm layer for February night loops. Crew tent at start/finish. Live band and hot meals at aid.
Race Day
Thirty-two hour cutoff on long course. Early start option Saturday 6:00 am. Ten minutes from Vegas Strip. Fastest looped course in the Southwest.
