The Course
Point-to-point through Bridger-Teton National Forest. Start Middle Piney Lake, finish Box Y Ranch. One hundred five point seven miles. Twenty-four thousand feet gain. High point Wyoming Peak 11,378 feet. Average elevation 8,850. Eleven aid stations roughly every 10 miles. Faint trail in alpine meadows.

Technical alpine navigation and bear country awareness. Hardrock qualifier. Mandatory bear spray. Train high-altitude repeated climbs. McDougal Gap exit cutoff 22 hours.

Race Day
Three cutoffs only: McDougal Gap 22 hours, Grizzly Basin 36 hours, finish 48 hours. Cutoffs enforced on exit from aid. Forest Service cap at 100 runners.
